Over the last 10 years, Dieter Wiesner was a close associate and friend of Michael Jackson. Because of the death of the King of Pop, Dieter Wiesner issues the following statement:

 

"Michael Jackson was not only a longtime business partner to me, but a friend. We had a unique mutual trust. Our relationship was brotherly. His death shook me deeply.

Michael leaves me, my family, his children and relatives as well as millions of fans and the world behind in a state of shock and deep pain. We will remember and cherish him forever as the King of Pop and the exceptional artist of the last century.

Michael Jackson was and is unique."
