Privacy
This is the personal website of Dieter Wiesner at https://www.dieterwiesner.com/. It is a public dossier. It is not an account product, a shop checkout, or a comment forum.
What we collect
The site itself does not run a first-party analytics tag, does not embed third-party advertising pixels, and does not offer user accounts. A visitor file serial may be stored in the browser’s localStorage (dw-file-serial) so the cinematic homepage can label a session. That value never leaves the browser through any form we publish.
If you write to [email protected], we receive whatever you put in the message: name, organisation, and the facts of the request. Email is handled as correspondence, not as a marketing list.
Infrastructure
The site is served from Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request data (IP address, user-agent, TLS metadata, bot score, standard server logs) to deliver the pages and to absorb abuse. Cloudflare may set a security cookie such as __cf_bm when bot mitigation is active. We do not sell that data and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run on-site payment forms. We do not require a cookie banner for first-party advertising, because there is none. External buy links (publisher, Amazon) are their own controllers. Social links leave this host.
Rights and contact
If you want a copy, correction, or deletion of correspondence you sent, write to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy”. Name the message and the date as well as you can. For a legal privacy demand, name your counsel.
